After manufacture, when products have passed the test for quality standards, any products that require rubber seals or assembly are fitted and finished using a variety of methods.
High frequency plastic welding is used to create a permanent bond between two moulded components. It is especially effective in small components. Our designers compensate for this in the design process where the surfaces to be joined are considered and allowances made should this process of joining parts be used.
Semi-automated jig assembly
This method of assembly is used when very high volumes of parts need to be assembled. Wilvic can design and manufacture assembly jigs which greatly speed up the volume of parts that can be processed.
If the volumes of production are such to accommodate hand assembly, this process is used. It is also considered when a component doesn’t lend itself well to any other method of assembly.
